The great name debate continues on. It is funny and alarming that out of thousands of names, Steve and I are struggling to find a single boy's name that we really love. I think the problem lies in the fact that I like semi-traditional boys name and well, Steve does not.
Exhibit A: The name Charles. I think it is sophisticated and quite adorable when you adopt the nickname Charlie. Additionally, it is the name of my late Grandpa, who I never got the chance to meet. I am also in love with this name because of the YouTube video, "Charlie bit my finger." It just puts a cute twist on the name. However, Steve does NOT like it at all.
So today I sent him a list of the most hated names in America, which included a list of boys and girls names and reasoning for the hatred.
In return, I got the following email:
"They forgot one: Charlie- The name is too old fashion and reminds us of the wimp 'Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.' Also, the You Tube sensation makes us all think Charlie is a 'cannibal' who likes to eat human flesh. "Charlie, you bit my finger.. ouch Charlie!"So I guess Goose's name is not going to be Charlie. So the great boy name debate rages on.
